for three days we tried to get the engine started, the mechanic arrives on wednesday and were ready to have him fix it for us at a meager $90 per hour.  Our problem now was filthy injectors which needed to be cleaned, much easier to do if they weren’t frozen to the engine block. so for 2 days we soaked them in a cocktail of liquid wrench, WD-40, and silicone until we could finally break them free.  once they were out schmitty delicately cleaned them with acetone and a toothbrush.  we refit the injectors, bled the lines, and gave it another go. a few seating adjustments and we were up and running for the first time in 4 days!  now its off to newport beach where we can get them professionally cleaned rather than a toothbrush and acetone.
